Without notice, COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has changed life as we know it. Many organizations have shut down for a certain amount of time, and some have shut down indefinitely. Guidelines have been issued that limit gatherings to 10 people or less. So, what does all of this mean for businesses? Luckily, many industries have the ability to allow people to work remotely. But, where does that leave lawn care and landscaping companies that can’t conduct their business from home?

Landscaping has been designated as an essential service by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This means that Executive Lawn Care will remain open. However, during these uncertain times, we are making daily changes to keep our clients and team members safe. Here are the safety measures that we put in place to protect the Executive Lawn Care family.

Keeping Community Equipment & Tools Clean

Our team has been instructed to sanitize the tools and equipment they use after each use with cleaning products that are approved to kill the COVID-19 virus. We are also encouraging everyone to have a designated piece of equipment to use each day. Plus, our crews are also following firm hygiene and hand-washing policies.

Social Distancing While Working

We are keeping a limited number of guys on each of our trucks and once we arrive at the job site, our team members work in separate areas as much as possible. We are staying 6 feet away from each other and our customers whenever we can. Additionally, we have asked our entire team to notify us and not come into work if they are feeling ill or showing any signs of being sick.

Contactless Customer Interaction

When it comes to our lawn care services, no face-to-face interaction is required. You can fill out a form to request a free quote online and then schedule your service over the phone. After you’ve scheduled your appointment, we can complete all of our work outside of your home. Even our payments are made online through our client portal and billed after the completion of services.

Personalized customer service is something we have always prided ourselves on. While we normally enjoy engaging with our clients and shaking their hands to say goodbye after a completed job, it’s something we will avoid until the social distancing regulations have been dropped and it’s deemed safe again because it is our top priority to keep everyone safe. In the meantime, we will continue to provide excellent service and we will smile and a wave to our loyal customers from a distance. We can still answer any questions you have, just give us a call.
